Alyssia and Nick’s wedding day was a dream.
From her one of a kind, custom wedding dress to the picturesque river side venue, the couple were over the moon with the unforgettable moments they shared.
We were honoured to hear from Alyssia about the magical details of her Ancora Wedding.
About the day, the bride said it was hard to choose a highlight.
“But I do love the moment Nick first saw me at the end of the aisle and seeing his face.”
Alyssia had one word to describe her gown on the day: “Perfect!”
The bride was able to customise the original Seraphina 2.0 gown by changing the sweetheart neckline and thin tulle straps to a plunging v-neckline with thicker straps that made her feel more supported.
She also made the skirt more fitting and streamlined and added an on-trend split.
“I loved my dress so much,” she said.
“I first came to the show room when I was about 26 weeks pregnant, so I never really tried on anything that I fully loved. I tried on bits of dresses that would fit.”
“I contacted Kate about what I liked and she was able to alter bits for me to exactly what I asked.”
Here’s Alyssia’s wise advice for future brides:
“Enjoy the build up as much as the day and don’t get stressed at all about it. It’s a day with all of your closest friends and family.”
“You wont care if a name card is slightly out of place. Have fun!”
When asked how married life was treating her, Alyssia said it had been better than good.
“I have the best husband and son I could ever ask for,” she said.
