She’s chic, not overly styled, naturally gorgeous and never over the top.
Her bridal gown is on the minimalist side yet amazing details shine through.
Luxe next level lace, low statement backs and an emphasis on fit and flare styles feature in this ensemble blog of wedding dresses designed by Kate Gubanyi.
STYLING
Coastal chic bridal shoot spiced with Moroccan luxe stylings.
Coastal and Moroccan stylings form the background to our shoot creating an elegant yet laid-back vibe.
Textural soft furnishings such as tufted Moroccan rugs, boho patterned cushions and faux fur throws create visual interest.
Lanterns, candles, low tables and an oversized roofed Marrakech daybed add a luxe Moroccan chic element to the shoot.
MODEL
Our muse is exotic Russian-Italian born Yana Samsonenko.
MAKEUP AND HAIR
Inspired by festival makeup and carnival hair. Yanas complexion looks dewy, and our makeup artist Hong from Le Rouge Beauty has added a liquid dusky pink glitter under her eyes. The effect is natural, bohemian beauty ready to let loose, dance and party under the stars.
THE GOWNS
Next level lace in our gowns is juxtaposed with Moroccan patterned rugs and lanterns.
Our new generation gowns feature either supportive stretch satin, thick cotton elastic or stretch crepe underlays that mould to the body yet support the silhouette.
Our model Yana has the freedom to move and stretch or just recline comfortably in a luxe leather armchair.
As the speciality of our designer Kate Gubanyi is fit and flare styles, these dominate the shoot as well as straight column style skirts such as in our Deja and Calla gowns.
Necklines are plunging, and backs are low or covered with unlined lace.
Using next-gen fabrics means we are moving away from old-fashioned stiff materials and overly boned garment construction in favour of body shaping, comfortable and movable materials.
ACCESSORIES
Beaded white tasselled earrings were a perfect match for our coastal inspired Ivy gown.
Gold with white beads, fine gold layered choker chains
Nude heels – Tan block heels with latest trend leather tassel ties. These tie front heels are perfect wedding shoes as foot width is variable and they allow you to adjust the width as you would the lace. Tassels lend a boho feel to these mega-comfy stylish heels.
